Advanced PI Gold Detector
Serious Gold Prospecting. Serious Performance.
The Nokta Magnetar 9000 is Nokta's flagship Advanced Pulse Induction (PI) gold detector, designed for serious prospectors searching for natural gold in challenging, highly mineralised ground.
Combining Nokta's Dual-Receiver Coil (DRC) technology with advanced Pulse Induction technology, the Magnetar 9000 is built for prospectors looking for a combination of depth, sensitivity and stability in difficult gold-bearing ground.
At $7,999.00 AUD, the Magnetar 9000 is supplied as a complete premium gold prospecting package, including two DRC search coils, two rechargeable batteries, Bluetooth headphones and a comprehensive range of accessories.
🔥 Built for Gold Prospecting
The Magnetar 9000 has been developed specifically with gold prospectors in mind.
Advanced Pulse Induction
Pulse Induction technology is well suited to mineralised ground and is widely used by serious gold prospectors. The Magnetar 9000 combines its Advanced PI platform with Nokta's Dual-Receiver Coil technology to provide a dedicated gold prospecting detector designed for challenging conditions.
Dual-Receiver Coil Technology
Two DRC coils are included, allowing you to choose the coil best suited to the ground and detecting conditions.
MG29 DRC Coil
29 × 21 cm / 11 × 8"
A compact coil for manoeuvrability and working tighter areas.
MG37 DRC Coil
37 × 34 cm / 14.5 × 13"
A larger coil providing increased ground coverage for open detecting areas.
Having both coils included means you can adapt the Magnetar 9000 to different terrain without having to purchase a second coil separately.
Easy Mode or Expert Mode
The Magnetar 9000 is designed to suit both straightforward operation and experienced detectorists who want greater control.
Easy Mode provides a simpler way to get started, while Expert Mode gives experienced users access to the detector's more advanced controls.
This allows you to start simply and progressively take more control as you become familiar with the detector.
Built for Australian Conditions
The Magnetar 9000 has been designed to handle the demands of serious field use.
IP68 Waterproof
The detector is waterproof to 3 metres, making it suitable for detecting around creeks, shallow water and wet ground.
Two Rechargeable Batteries
Two rechargeable Li-Ion batteries are included.
Each battery provides up to 10 hours of operating time, giving you up to 20 hours of battery capacity when carrying both batteries.
Wireless Bluetooth Audio
The supplied Nokta Bluetooth headphones provide wireless audio while the detector also features a built-in speaker and a 6.3 mm / ¼" headphone connection.
Carbon-Fibre Telescopic Shaft
The shaft adjusts from approximately 150 cm down to 72 cm, making the detector easier to transport and store.
Built-In Flashlight
A built-in light provides useful illumination when detecting in low-light conditions or working around a target hole.
Real-World Detectorist Experience
The Magnetar 9000 has already been tested in the field by experienced detectorists.
Steve Herschbach of DetectorProspector, a long-time gold prospector and detector reviewer, has personally used the Magnetar 9000 and described it as a "worthy competitor" to the Minelab GPZ 7000.
Independent field testing has also been carried out by experienced gold prospectors, including Chris Gholson, who tested the Magnetar 9000 in highly mineralised ground and reported recovering a small natural gold nugget during his testing.
These experiences represent individual field results and should not be taken as a guarantee of gold recovery or detection depth. Actual results will vary depending on ground conditions, target size, orientation, mineralisation and operator technique.
